Notifications are annoying
The thing (among multiple other things) I didn't like about tinder was when they'd send me a notification that was ONLY to get me to open the app and use it. In Hey! Vina, they do the same thing but use cute quotes. There's no way to turn these notifications off and they pop up EVERY DAY. If I'm not getting a new match or a message, I really don't like getting notifications. It gets really annoying. The women in the app have nice profiles and look friendly, but no one messages or responds which is frustrating. The age group is in mid-late 20s and 30s mostly so if you're early 20s/late teens, it's a turn off. The app itself is also a little weird to use like there's 'groups' to join if you're into yoga, a student, LGBT, etc. which is interesting but eh. It's also a bit of a turn off when every profile mentions their hubby/"amazing boyfriend" as if that matters? If you're also not a fan of drinking/clubbing, you won't find a lot of matches. Overall, this was a very unique and fun concept of having a women's only app to find friends, but with a small pool of women, most inactive, and a bit older, it doesn't execute well. But honestly, most apps with any sort of relationship finder isn't going to always work out as intended. Great concept but not that great IRL. Give it a try and see if you like it though, maybe you're into drinking or a bit older then you might enjoy this app.
Sweet app
No bugs or glitches on my end! The design is very cute and the designer of this app is very nice! When you sign up you write a profile for yourself and choose things you like. The girls are very nice, we just need more members so please join! Ive gone out with 3 Vinas so far. Also girls if you are going to be an active member please fill in your profiles and don't use the generic profile!
Finally!
Vina is the app I've always searched for, but could never find. I constantly find myself looking for an app for "just friends." It seemed nonexistent until now. I have had a great experience on Vina. My only advice to people is to be patient. You'll find someone to talk to! I assumed the app was terrible until I connected with someone. It takes a minute. =)
