iPhone Screenshots

Bored with texts, tweets, and pokes? Send a secret (or not so secret) message to your special someone via “hide-a-grams”! Your message is hidden in jumbled text and mirror writing, like you see on fun cereal boxes and placemats!

Your friends will marvel at your hidden genius as they decipher your message using the app’s built-in red filter, which works just like classic red decoder paper glasses.

Each hide-a-gram is a simple image that you can email or send with a text message. Or save it to your camera roll so you can post it to Facebook, Twitter, etc. Even print your hide-a-gram directly from your iPhone to any AirPrint-capable wireless printer!

Hide-a-grams received via email on an iPhone are easily imported and revealed. Printed
‘grams or ‘grams displayed on computer monitors are easy to decipher too - just fire up the app and aim the iPhone camera at the message.

Be careful! Hide-a-grams are addicting. Don’t stop to think, or you might even teach yourself something about optical tricks with filtering light and mirrors.

What's New

Version 1.2.4

Receiving hide-a-grams on iPhones / iPads is much simpler! The recipient just taps on the link and the app opens to decode the hide-a-gram instantly.

Other new features:

1. A tutorial for learning how to decode hide-a-grams. Tap the Info button at the top right of your screen to see it.

2. Pretend to Send. For smaller kids that don’t have email or text messaging but just want to play around with encoding and decoding messages.

3. New “Rate this App” and “Like us on Facebook” buttons.

Stellar app

This is a great app for kids or kids at heart. Not only can you write a message but you can hide it or read it. Use it in a newsletter and make the kids try to figure out what it says. So many uses and so many great features. The only one I wish they had was a way to scramble the letters a bit so it would make it a little harder for older kids to decipher.

Doesn't work

On my first attempt after installing, nothing was clickable.
I restarted which fixed that but when I tried to type, nothing came up for a keyboard, just a blank grey area.
I then tried clicking the information button for help which dimmed the screen but otherwise did nothing.
I thought Apple had strickter standards for apps than this.

So very buggy. I had to uninstall and reinstall just because gif keyboard tried to open, but it couldn't handle it, and it never gave me the button to shut it off. Also, it's not formatted for the 6 plus. It's stuck in landscape. I still haven't gotten a working message out of it. It crashes when I click generate every time.
