iOS 5 sometimes disables apps from showing notifications. Please launch "Settings" and go into "Notifications" and find HiFutureSelf in the list. Make sure that "Notification center" is enabled and select "Alerts" for the alert style. Also enable "View in Lock Screen".
What's New in Version 1.6
- Share your message with friends!
- After hitting "Send" you now have the option to Send that same message to a friend. Your friend will receive a link to the message and can add it to their HiFutureSelf app with one tap!
- Minor improvements throughout the app
- Improved iOS 5 integration
-- NOTE TO iOS 5 USERS --
Go into your Settings -> Notifications -> HiFutureSelf and make sure that Notification Center, Alerts, Sounds, View in Lock Screen are enabled! iOS 5 sometimes disables this by default.

ok.... but needs work
ok. so this app does what it says - it allows you to send yourself a text message in the future to remind you of things...... it worked fine for me in that respect. however, when it came time to receive that message, I had problems. I recieved the notification on my locked iPhone screen that I'd recieved the "text".. when I slid to unlock, as usual, the app opened up so I could view the message. only - and here's the problem - it didn't open up to the recieved message but instead to the "write message" screen...... what?? so I thought no biggie - I'll just click "view sent" and read it there.... nope....... I could SEE that I'd recieved a message but I could not OPEN that message. all I could see if it was the date and the title....... or subject..... whatever... but I couldn't open it to reread the message. I think that's crap!!!! I didn't even get to read the message before it went to the new message screen and now it's not letting me reopen the message???????? anyone else having this issue???? this app is being del because I can't get it to work.... what's the point of sending yourself a message if you can't even read it?!?!
Should have viewed the screenshots beforehand, but after purchasing it I've noticed I cannot, for example, remind myself to floss every other day at 8:40 pm. Instead, it's got to be on a daily basis, on here. Add a reminder feature like that, for individual/several days a week, and this app will be perfect!
Love it, but....
When you reschedule an event, it should be moved from Received Messages back to Sent Messages. It should not be duplicated.
I also miss the "view sent messages" button that used to pop up after saving a message.
