Great Idea, Paranoid Developers
The app developers are so worried that people will make deals outside the app that they’ve stopped the feature which lets you send pictures before paying.
All that really does is force us to communicate outside the app. Tried to convey this to customer service but their responses were annoying and unhelpful.
To add to all this lately payments wont go through and I’ve used my card in other places and other websites and it works fine. I’ve even called my bank per Hitchhiker’s instructions and the bank told me it was a network error on Hitchhikers side.
Honestly time is of the essence and they do nothing to help. Very frustrating.
Not recommended at all for travelers
I’ve just started using the service for couple of my trips and their customer support is nothing less than useless.
They put your money on hold until all the trip shipments get completed. One of my shipments didn’t arrive on time and I’ve agreed with the shipper on returning it back and we both communicated that to Hitchiker. They responded that the shipment has been removed and it’s resolved. Until today my shipments are on hold despite reaching out to them 4 times on 6 days with no response!

Thieves and unprofessional crew!
They have a too baaaaaaad customer service! They don’t answer if any thing bad happened! I paid for a traveller 62$ but we didn’t complete the deal and I asked the app for a refund, but they refund only 48$! After more than a month!! And I’m trying to talk with them and I sent an email and called there number but I got no answer! Really Too bad experience

Our customer service claimed those $14 as shipment fees to the traveler’s address. For further clarification, please get in contact with our customer support using the ‘Feedback’ in the ‘More’ tab within the app or write Support@HitchHiker.io directly.
