Download the free HMSA’s Online Care mobile app and get real-time care from a physician, specialist or other health care provider on your mobile phone or tablet. Doctors are available 24/7, 365 days a year. It’s easy, secure and affordable.

Have a question to ask a doctor or psychologist? Get the care you need quickly - typical issues include:
• Diabetes and hypertension
• Bladder and urinary concerns
• Cold and flu symptoms
• Skin Conditions
• Headache, fever, ear pain
• Smoking cessation
• Medication management
• Depression and anxiety

Just choose the type of visit you are looking for and select a provider. Depending on the issue at hand, the doctor can diagnose, suggest follow up, and prescribe medication, when appropriate.
Now integrated with Apple’s Health app, you can share your health information with the doctor during your Online Care visit such as your heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, blood glucose, weight, nutritional information, and respiratory rate.

We continue to improve the patient experience with these new features:

• Patients that have been in a provider’s waiting room for an extended time are now given the option of transferring to a more available provider. This feature will automatically reach out to providers that might be able to see the patient sooner

• With this release, you can now edit your account information at any time in “My Account”. This includes name, date of birth, gender, address, email and phone number. Additionally, you can now edit your payment information via “Settings”

• When viewing available appointment times for a specific provider, now you can browse to different dates without leaving the provider’s profile

HMSA Online gives me more access to quality Health Care,

HMSA Online allows me to connect with and keep appointments with professionals during the times that work for me, and from the convenience of my own...I really appreciate the flexibility this APP affords. Yes, there are some glitches in the system that sometimes interrupt the feed or drop th the call, but the system often reconnects me by itself. And if that doesn’t happen, my provider simply sends me a new invitation for now and we reconnect. I still really appreciate the ability to schedule with whom I want, whether or not they happen to be on the Big Island on that particular day, give it a try,

Please email a copy of sick note

App is alright for it's intended purpose. Video and audio quality could be higher. Please allow us to forward the messages in the app to outside emails. Or at least email a copy of any attachments the doctor added when emailing us a personal copy of the visit. I can't print the sick slip PDF from my iPhone within the app. This means I have to go onto a computer just to print the sick slip. Allow us to print from the app!

Went through setup process,found provider and input payment info...says I am in another session and cannot continue. I call support, nice lady tells me to delete app and start over. I get the same error. App support link just takes you to web page. I am told after a second phone call I will have to wait until tomorrow. I am in pain, no quick care at this hour and have to get to work. Useless app with no proper or helpful support. What is the point of 24 hour online care if support is not 24 hours and the voice over the phone has no clue what to do to remedy the situation?!
