Note: This is an app for Holga/Diana camera users. It does not take pictures, it simply helps you use 35mm film in your Holga/Diana camera.
Shooting 35mm film in a medium format Holga camera presents certain challenges. The most notable of these challenges is knowing how far the film should be advanced between frames. Too little means your images will overlap–too much will result in wasted film.
The second challenge is remembering which frame you are currently on, so you know how much to advance the film.
HolgaClicks addresses both of these issues by keeping track of your current frame, and specifying how far you must advance the film between frames. Advancements can be displayed in either clicks, fractional turns or decimal turns. HolgaClicks will remember which frame you are on, so you can come back weeks later and pick up right where you left off. If you advance too far by mistake, you can quickly and easily go back to correct frame. HolgaClicks does not require a data connection, so even works in Airplane mode.

Excellent! Just what I needed!
In the past when I would shoot 35mm in my Holga I would take a chart with me to keep track of how far I had progressed but often forgot a pen to make tick marks and would lose or ruin the chart in the bottom of a bag. This app allows me to keep track of how many turns needed to progress the film to avoid overlap. I love that there are options and I can customize depending on which holga and which mask is used. I love having a fractions option. I have my winding knob quartered with different colored tape to aide in getting the correct rotation.
Thanks for creating this app!
Must-have for converting your Holga to 35mm
This app is perfect to help me keep track of frames and amount of clicks per frame for my 35mm ghetto-rigged Holga. I don't understand why some people said they felt ripped off--this app does just what it says. It simply tells you how much to turn for after shooting each frame. Note: if you use 24 exposure film instead of 36 you won't go through all of the frames in the app.
just don't forget your iPhone when you're out taking pictures
