Works well but data trapped inside app

I would like to penalize HoMedics more for the lack of Health Kit integration or data export but so far the kit has been working very reliably both for measurement as well as synchronization between the device and my iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.

Setup was pretty straightforward with the main confusion being the bluetooth connection; You don’t pair the device via Settings -> Bluetooth because that will give you an error—instead you just open the app and it connects to the device via bluetooth.

No HealthKit Support? What's the point?

I get it that you probably have some kind of deal with Microsoft's Health service, but if you're using an iPhone/iPad you aren't going to be using Microsoft's service, more than likely.

This app is overall very solid and easy to use, but I can't give it more than 3 stars because of the lack of HealthKit support. If you aren't going to support HealthKit, why bother have an iOS app?

Enable the Apple HealthKit functionality and this review will get changed to 5 stars.

Works Great -- No Apple Health Data Connection

Everything about this unit is awesome, except ***NO APPLE HEALTH DATA CONNECTION***. The positives: It detects irregular heartbeat, it will measure your blood pressure three times in a row with a minute in between and average the results. It will do a rest assured mode where it allows you to rest to get your blood pressure normalized. There is only one huge problem with this device and that is it does not sync with the Apple health application. Homedics and Walgreens need to get their developers in gear and get with the current technology craze that's going on in the Apple world!
