Horse Racing 3D Free (Kids Edition‪)‬ 4+

Its too bad that this game is so hard to control. The visuals are very cute, but that doesn’t make up for the bad controls in the game. The response time is quite slow and having to continuously hold down the arrow key to move gets quite painful after a short period of time. The horse also sometimes slows down for no apparent reason.

After playing this absolute masterpiece for less than five minutes, I have come to the conclusion that this game is actually terrifying. I knew from the picture previews on the app store that I was going to be on a wild rollercoaster while playing this game. This was the first game that I decided to download on my Mac, and all I can say is that I am highly disappointed. First of all, the graphics are giving me nostalgia from the original Spyro series for the Playstation 1 or a game Mario 64, but with 1080p screen quality. Another thing that bothered me was the generic names for the racers, but what would I expect I suppose. I also strongly dislike the fact that you couldn’t choose a female racer for the player’s character, or maybe I missed it and did not notice. I would also like to add the fact that the title of the game says it is intended for kids, but in the description on the App Store, it says that the game is designed for everyone? And don’t even get me started with the controls in this game. The response time is so painful that I barely was able to cross the finish line. The horse also will be fine and then it just decides to slow down, although my finger was on the arrow key the entire time, which causes you to lose positions, which is frustrating considering that this game is a racing game! I feel as if this game is going to give me nightmares because it is pretty terrifying honestly. I would not recommend this game for its targeted audience, which is children, nor anyone else who falls outside of this games demographic. Please do not play this game at 5am like I did because the character models are going to haunt me in my dreams.
