Authentic listings, much more availability in property listings than any other rental app I've tried thus far. Landlords and/or prop. mgmt. companies are quick to respond, especially with the easy UI for potential renters to submit an inquiry of interest. I also love that the app will automatically email a copy of those properties that I've contacted as for anyone who can relate to the hassle of finding that budget friendly sweet rental spot, it can be overwhelming to keep track of all the calls, emails, addresses, pricing, etc. And I love that I can get the info I need before ever visiting a property directly from the owner/mgr - this way there are no surprise fees or deposits that may have not been specifically listed in the original ad. Keep up the great work HotPads! Don't be sell-outs like Trulia with half the listings being commercial ticklers of false/non-existent lower-priced properties just to get prospects to visit.
I really like this app. It is very user friendly. I've noticed two things with the last two updates that need to be corrected. First: Favorites is in some weird order now. Previously, the order was from newest to oldest. The favorites are randomly listed. Second: Each listing now has two listings instead of one. When I view a listing, there is one gray listing and an additional orange one still remaining. It's not multiple units. It's the exact same listing for each listing. The shadow behind the building is an odd choice, too.
I've been using this app for about a year and the selection keeps getting better as more people become aware of it. I haven't rented from what has been displayed yet, but am confident this is where I'll find my next place.
