Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here. This property is part of a timeshare network (VRI.) It’s not an “inn” or a “hotel.” They already have timeshare folks money, so they don’t have to impress them. They aren’t there to impress anyone. We stayed for 5 nights. On the last morning the cleaning person opened the door at about 8:45 demanding we get going. I told her we were getting ready. She heavily sighed and proceeded to stand outside the rooms glaring at us for the next hour and 15 minutes. Check out is 10am. A 10am check out is already ridiculous. 8:45 is insane. We had 3 rooms. We had vacated one of the rooms by 9:15 and we told her. She rolled her eyes and still stood outside “mad dogging” us. They didn’t clean any of the rooms once during our stay. Towel exchanges was the extent of their housekeeping. At $205 per night/room you would think you would get a little service.
The service we did get was in the form of a $75 per room cleaning fee. Over $3k for a 5 night stay wasn’t enough $$$$ for them. Remember they never cleaned the rooms during our stay. When we called to find out why there was an extra charge on our card. The manager proceeded to scream at us. When it was explained that no one cleaned our rooms during the stay we were yelled at, “we don’t do that!” She told us they don’t care about repeat customers. Lesson learned. Avoid all properties managed by VRI and stick to branded hotel chains.

I tried to book a room 2.5 hours away from home for the same night, but received an error saying that the deal was gone. I checked with my credit card company, and a $167 pending payment was showing from Hotwire. I called Hotwire to find out if I had a reservation, and was told me that I didn’t. I talked to 3 people in hopes that they could assist me in getting a room for the night. They kept telling me that they didn’t have a room similar to the room I tried to book. I requested that they release my pending charges, and was told it could take up to 24 hours. At this point, I had been on the phone with Hotwire for over an hour, and it was too late to make the trip. After insisting to talk to a supervisor, I finally got someone to help me resolve the pending charges. Hotwire never apologized, and did nothing to make the situation right.
