Nice user interface, but improvements are needed: (1) widget needs a "clock out" tab; (2) invoices should take rate/billing changes into account and should not automatically reflect "paid" status; and (3) removing "paid" status from time entries should not require opening, changing, and saving each entry, ie, users should be able to mark multiple entries as "paid" or "unpaid" at once.

EDIT: App does account for changes from the time of the change forward, but not for previous entries, which have to be changed manually. Not necessarily a bad thing there, but the ability to change multiple entries simultaneously would be nice. Added two stars to my review. The invoices are spectacular. I will be purchasing the full version soon.

EDIT: App does not mark invoices with outstanding balances as "paid" until an amount tendered has been entered. I didn't fully understand the proper use at the time of my initial review. So...I'd like the ability to edit multiple entries at once and a "clock out" tab for the widget. More of a feature request than a complaint. Added the fifth star!

EDIT: New interface is clean and intuitive. I hope the widget, which is phenomenal, never changes. There should be simple, workable backup solution and iCloud synchronization. Not having the latter is almost criminal at this point. Let's get that going, devs. 3.5 stars.

The new look

I've been using this app for over a year and a half I think as a way of tracking my check with my employer. We basically use this as my paystub and he writes out a check from the business account. The new update seems to be a rework of the how the app navigate the menus and how it appears. Something that was removed was the notification that you were clocked in on the app icon. An improvement is like to see is a way to add to the day items of expense or commissions. Right now all I've been doing is clocking an hour of work and changing the rate with notes of what job the commission is for. With as many commissions as I get it would be a massive headache to add each one to the invoice once a week. And it would accurately reflect a true amount of hours worked. I still enjoy using this app.

sync, support and "log out" problems! please help!

Grabbed the free version last month; used it on iPad; liked it a lot so bought the upgrade and loaded it onto iPhone, as well.

The "sync" hasn't worked consistently or reliably. Entries are moving from iPad to iPhone but not the other way around. I thought maybe logging out and back in on both devices would make things right. But although I can log out of the app on my iPhone, the iPad ***won't let me sign or log out*** It says that it's "syncing; please try again later."

I've written to support twice -- once through the "contact us" button within the app, which goes to a different developer. No response. Once throught the APPXY website, which doesn't even show them being the developer of this app!

What is up with this company and this app? Is anyone minding the store? If not, why is it still for sale? I really like the app (so would give it 5 stars for functionality, with the one complaint that you should be able to customize the CSV export to make it simpler to invoice clients without doing a whole lot of editing of the spreadsheet) but am feeling hoodwinked by the developer into just having bought something that they've maybe already set out to pasture.
