How Many Saturdays?

By Exploratorium

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.

Standard units of time like seconds, hours, days, months, and years chop up time into chunks that seem sensible.

But here’s an experiment: What if you were to measure the time of your life in other, very different units? Does life feel shorter? Longer? More absurd? More precious?
Now’s the time to find out.

Enter your birthdate—then confront the not-so-grim reaper as you find out just how much you have (left) to live for.

How many cat lifetimes until you die? How many blue moons? How much space junk has fallen to earth since you were born, and how many breaths have you taken?

Far more than a mere lifespan calculator, this illustrated journey explores the metrics, mileposts, and meaning of life’s span. Carpe diem!

What's New in Version 1.5

It's been 18 Saturdays since our last update but it's been worth the wait, because How Many Saturdays is now universal! Yes, enjoy the app that gets older with you on both your iPad and now iPhone. We've also squashed some bugs along the way and updated all our numbers for 2016.

Really, people?

Disclaimer: This app is just for fun. It will not accurately predict your's or anyone else's actual death dates. The point is to look at the concept of time through a different perspective. This app and the Exploratorium are in no way claiming God-like powers to predict the date of your death. Really, no one should have to say any of the above, but some people just don't get it.

Keeps crashing won't even attempt to load. Absolute junk deleting right now

I love the idea that Saturday's are universally enjoyed. I'm betting a substantial portion of iPhone users are working (like me) to pay off the bill Apple stuck em' with. Fun app though
