What's New in Version 2.1.3
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.
I have had a terrible experience with both the website and the app. They both provide good information but in an unreadable format. There are so many horizontal bar ads on the webpage I could not find the instructional text among them. The app provides a search bar but it does not retract once the search is successful. Instead it takes up one third of the page, causing content to resize itself with graphics becoming covered by text. I went to the website to solve this problem, but the website contains no instructional information for their products. Instead, it points to a FAQ sheet, which is actually no help at all. In fact, I disliked this product so much that have taken the last 30 minutes of time I should be doing repairs to sit and write this review, thus wasting my own time.
It is good information presented in an unusable format. I would give it no stars if I could.
It's really too bad, but...
This promising app is -currently anyway - completely & totally unusable.
Zero Stars, though I had to click one.
It won't stay open after ANY attempt to get beyond the first "page", NONE of the links along the bottom work, rebooting had zero effect on performance (or "non performance...") so I gave up. I recall it actually functioning at one time (long ago) but it now is trying to do WAY too much, heading in lots of directions but stumbling and falling on the first step for all of them. At this point I long for the ancient BOOK: "How Things Work"
Please, try doing less, but do it well...I might check back later or I might just toss the app, I'm still pondering. If the developers would give me any hint of being aware of the problems and working on them I would hang on to it for a while, but...
I am disappointed to see so many low ratings for this app. I love the podcasts it offers and with this app I don't have to continually download podcasts to my phone.
Stuff You Should Know is one of my favorite podcasts and I am grateful to have easy access to a plethora of knowledge.
