Customer Reviews

Exceeded my expectations

For networked printers, I have had mixed results trying to use them with my iphone and ipad. However, I recently set up an HP Officejet Pro 8620 for my office and have been impressed with the easy to use this app with the printer to print almost anything from my mobile devices. Not the case I can say for my home Brother printer/app. Well designed and I am not left having to do "IT support" randomly when something gets updated in the app or operating system. I normally don't provide reviews, but the easy of use required I give credit to HP. Keep in mind, this app only works for HP printers that are set up for this capability. Make sure you check your printer before setting expectations about using this app.

Very Good - 1 correction needed

The app finds my networked printers just fine. When I tried to enter some email addresses, "yahoo" & "msn" worked fine.

However, I kept getting a message that my information was wrong when I tried to enter some "hotmail" addresses. I know the information was correct because it is working to access those accounts and I checked it for accuracy 4 times within this app. I don't know what I can do to fix it.

I also couldn't enter in a gmail account - message was to check the gmail site. I don't want to disable 2 - step verification for the Gmail account. Is there a way to fix this without disabling 2-step verification?

Hits the mark

This is the tool to use for ePrinting, because it allows you the most control over print settings. For instance you can specify duplex, black only and number of copies; options that aren't possible if you just email a document to the printers email address. Very nifty. It would be nice of all the setting values were shown in a separate pane. For example, to see if you have selected duplex, you have to select the layout button, then the duplex button. Only then is the selected value shown. Could be made easier.
