Evil, Nightmare, Garbage
This is a perfect app for you if you love pain and enjoy poor experience. Not only this app lacks functions necessary to access my mobile banking, it presents itself as unfamiliar, unpleasant, hurtful and unconvinient. App feels and looks like a horrible website from 1980, you have to call support every single time the app or iOS updates... I just can't describe horrible it is. I can't wait for Monzo to become a bank so that I can stop using this disgrace. Apple should remove this from the App Store since they are cleaning garbage apps that don't get updated frequently and provide poor experience. The only reason I use this app is because I am forced to as I don't want to carry a freaking calculator around to log in to the mobile banking via website.
Latest update == Network Connection Error - literally can't check my accounts
So with the latest update I can no longer access any of my HSBC accounts with the app - always says "Network Connection Error" even though I am clearly online as I write this post.
Dear HSBC CTO: there is this thing called QA. Do it before you let your team or your vendor release updates. Or resign, please, and let someone competent do your job. Your apps are driving customers away.
I don't know why, but for the last 5 days I keep getting an error message that states "services are currently unavailable." This has been very frustrating since I need to check my accounts and the app used to be extremely helpful. The latest update didn't fix this problem. I really hope they fix it quickly because it's a great application when it's working correctly.
