Good service/poor app

It doesn't make sense. When you open the app you are bombarded with shows (ok cool I have options). The "shows I watch" section is no good. It will show shows that I have watched maybe months ago at the front of the list and I have to scroll through to find the show I want and most of the time I don't know if there is a new episode. If I favorite a show doesn't it make sense for the app to notify me when a new episode comes available. Gotham is a perfect example. As a consumer that doesn't have cable I had no idea that the show stayed back up. I logged in one day and decided to click on the show and to my surprise there were five episodes waiting for me 3-7. GREAT LET ME GO BUT THE OTHER TWO.

The app is hard to navigate and lacks functionality to let the user have the best experience. The whole favors and shows I watch thing doesn't make sense. I really hope it gets a makeover. Like I said. The service is cool, apart from not being able to keep all the episodes online (i'm sure there is a reason behind that). I can only assume that the majority of consumers are streaming from mobile devices and carrying to set top boxes like the apple tv or Chromecast, so why not give us a better app. PLEASE. then I can change this review

Used to love it/Now I hate it

Ever since the apple update, this app runs terribly!!! It's constantly buffering, or even worse, it just looses the stream all together and you have to start from scratch. Over and over and over... Oh, and God forbid you try to do something else on your device at the same time that your casting something, you'll lose the stream right away!

The thing is, the app used to work perfectly. I never had a single issue before the update, which is why I can't understand how an app we pay to use, WEEKS after the update, (and they must be fully aware of the issue by now) they still have YET to fix! It has gotten so frustrating, that I've gone back to using each and every channel app, the ones that actually cast (looking at you NBC and AMC!!) just to watch everything! At least THEY still work after the update...

Horrible. Nothing about this app makes sense.

Three major things wrong with the app: (1) At the conclusion of any episode of TV, it seemingly randomly chooses another show to play. It doesn’t play the next unwatched item in my queue, and it doesn’t take into consideration other shows I’ve watched. It’s just random. (2) In order to find your Queue you have to scroll all the way to the right, after blockbusters like Korean Drama. Why is this so buried? (3) The Watchlist / Queue / Shows You Watch (whatever they are calling it today) is just one long list of things, some of which I care about, others that I have no idea how they got there (except remember complaint #1). The shows I care about have no indication of watched status, and nothing is sorted logically.
