Where are my shows?

Real talk: the new interface is not user friendly. Not only do I end up searching for my favorite shows, but I don't even know when there is a new episode. The My List isn't up-to-date and keeps saying that old episodes are up next. When I click on it, it shows me the most recent episode that I've already watched. I don't know the real name of episodes, I shouldn't have to keep track of them to know if I've seen the episode or not before I click on it.

The computer, phone, and the old Apple TV app actually allow me to "find new shows" easier than the homepage for the latest Apple TV update. If you're trying to get people to actually scan through other suggestions, make it easier for them to know when they're done with the shows they like first.

This might be pretty, but it's not functional. Prioritize the shows I already watch, then make it easier to navigate.

Works ok

I use this to cast to my tv. Sometimes the cast icon doesn't even show up, and I have to open and close the app repeatedly to get it to come up. Also, if pause the show for longer than a few minutes, it disconnects. Super irritating when you've paused it to answer a call or run into the kitchen to do a little dinner prep. Also, it's not as easy to navigate as Netflix. Can't really look up other tv shows as well or even look up episode info. All in all, it has a lot of good shows, but it could use a few tweaks.
Oh, and I'm hard of hearing so I have to use captioning. Even though I have the captioning on in the settings, I have to go in each time I open up the app and turn it back on. That shouldn't happen. If I've set it to be on, the captioning should come on automatically.

May 2017 Update - nice look but horrible interface

The new interface looks good and added ability to have different user profiles; however, the rest of the interface is a major disappointment. The two menu bars at the top (primary and submenu) are too close together causing accidental switching between menus. After finishing an episode the new screen lists the last episode you watched, immediately followed by the newest episode, which could be several seasons ahead of where you're watching. The watch list screen has removed the usual "new episode" indicator, in lieu of text with episode titles and either continue watching or caught up. Additionally, there is no longer a progress bar on the episode preview, so you can't easily see if you've finished an episode or have more to watch. Overall this new interface has made it frustrating to find what you want to watch.
