Some word of advice
If you love the Japanese world and actually want to try and learn the language. This is an amazing app- you can watch all the anime you like and try to learn phrases online but you won't get far. This app was the introduction to a greater understanding of the language to me, never did I realize just how badly I was pronouncing most common used phrases. I took each lesson slowly so that my memory could retain all the info. Making flash cards along with this app is a huge help. This app is very easy to understand and gives a clearer guide to help you relate and actually learn the proper ways of putting together sentences. Since I downloaded this I had purchased childrens reading level books that I can slowly but surely read. How much you learn is up to you, but this is by far my favorite app.
Amazing app.
This app is far better than many of the books that I've considered buying, and less expensive. It teaches you grammar, vocabulary, and culture in a warm and friendly tone without ever sounding pedantic. This is the best mobile resource I've seen for learning Japanese at a beginner level, and I would definitely recommend it. :)
Nice Program
I have versions for my phone and my desktop. This is a nicely paced program that doesn't push too much on you all at once. If you're just starting to learn the language, this is a wonderful program to start with.
