APP BACKGROUND REFRESH:
Human runs in the background. Keep App Background Refresh in iOS7 enabled for accurate tracking.
Human runs in the background and continually tracks your activities, so we recommend to charge your phone at night or during periods of inactivity. Our tests show that you can keep using Human for a whole day on typical phone use, but results may vary.
We store your data safely on our servers. You can request a full copy of all your data within the app. We will delete all your account and all your data on request.
Human has partnered with Kuvva.com to create an experience unlike any other health app. Human features beautiful artwork by some of the most talented photographers around the world: Jakub Polomski, Ted Craig, Peter-Paul de Meijer, Raban Haaijk, Andrew Brooks.
What's New in Version 2.5
We've optimized background tracking and will give you a little heads up when the app is getting closed.
Enjoy your daily 30.

Mostly love it
I switched to this app from Moves. I do feel like it motivates me to move more throughout the day (though I notice that it's harder for me to get to my "daily 30" on days that I focus on strength training or yoga - movements not so easily picked up with the accelerometer - rather than cardio). I wish the app tracked a little better indoors (especially in limited data access situations) and that distance was aggregated across activities, as activity times are. I end up with lots of segments of "1+ minutes, 0 miles." I can use speeds indicated to do the math and come up with a distance and add things up, but I wish Human could do that math for me. :) But I mostly love the app. :)
Holy shitballs...this app is the future.
Ok so I'm a 'real time transportation/mobility big data' geek (is that a phrase?) and this app just blew any of the competition out of the water. Although I agree that some of the functionality needs to be fine tuned, the data this app is churning up is worth it's weight in gold (or silicon). This app has potential to overtake some of the major players out there....strava [dead], Waze [adios], moovit? [mooveOut!]. Do y'all know what y'all are sitting on here???
Good but not great.
The app has awesome design and is packed with a slick user interface but lacks any kind of social feature. Yes, you can post your daily progress on Facebook and Twitter but apps like these are supposed to motivate us but sadly this app is not good at it. There is no feature to add friends or family or to compare your progress with them. Overall still a good app though.
