Use the Glance to see your daily progress in a blink. Create a club for your friends, colleagues and family and get active together. Human will show you real-time activity stats for you and your friends in a Human Club.

DAILY ACTIVITY:

Human does not count your steps. We track how many minutes you move and automatically detect outdoor activities like running, walking, and cycling. Your dance moves, chores around the house, shopping sprees, treadmill runs, and other indoor activity is detected as "Active". We use the motion sensors of your phone to measure intensity and estimate active Calories.


BATTERY:

Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Human is optimized to use minimal power and minimize the impact on your battery life. In most cases you should be able to easily get through the day, but results may vary based on network conditions and daily usage. We recommend to charge your phone at night or during periods of inactivity.


PRIVACY:

We store your data safely on our servers. You can request a full copy of all your data within the app. We will delete all your account and all your data on request.

Attention: Please open Human before and after updating, to make sure we don't miss any activity.

Themes are now permanently unlocked based on your longest streak, instead of your active streak. We've brought back the option to tap a day on the Dashboard to go straight into the timeline.
We fixed a crash when you opened the Themes on your profile, refresh stats in your profile more frequently, and some other small bugs.

From intuitive to average

Nice that they brought back the ability to click on the day you want to look at on the timeline.. But I miss being able to tap the center of the screen where your minute counter is to check on the days. Plus not being able to swipe left or right to switch between screens like you used to be able to for info on the clubs is a downer as well. Human was a beautiful and intuitive app, but now while it is still beautiful, they have slid a few steps backwards on the intuitive part. I feel it's a little more complicated to use now, I find myself having to re-learn how to use this; why complicate something that worked beautifully in its simplicity? It was what set Human apart from the average apps out there, but with these changes they are joining the average ranks.

It's not super accurate.

Granted, I have this app on my phone, and don't have an apple watch. I'm sure that would make a difference. But i most definitely move a lot with my job and it doesn't track all of my movement. Many days I'm super busy at work and it says I've not even hit the 30 minute mark. Also on my days off, I notice that it deducts minutes from my time. 😔I actually watched it hit 29 then go right back to 28. No wonder I'm not getting the times I should be. 😔

Friendly & Motivating

I am new enough to the app to have no angst over lost capabilities due to upgrades. I am pretty active, overall. But while at work, Human is awesome at nudging me to get into motion. And I enjoy the comments and observations from the app. Yes, sometimes it mistakes a fast walk for a bike ride -- but honestly, I simply enjoy the overall time tracking of activity. Job well done.
