What's New in Version 4.1
Small images and ads
For all the promotion of this app on wesh I set high expectations for this app. The bulk of the content is low resolution images and links to relevant news/weather video footage. Neither of these are impressive in a modern mobile app world where users have come to expect information presented optimally for the limited screen size. The biggest disappointment is that that in order to watch the videos I must watch ads. Think of the user experience, wesh, and consider ditching the ads. I know you have bills to pay but folks are using this app to get informed about major, possibly life and property threatening weather events and you force them to watch an ad for Mike and Molly reruns?! Streamline the app and improve the user experience and I will increase my rating. Thanks.
There's a Lot to This App
I appreciate all that this app offers. There are current radar and satellite views, projected path screens, videos of what's happening, and more. My parents are senior citizens living in FL, and when they lost power because of Matthew, I was able to stay on top of the situation as it was happening. Other sources were a couple of hours behind.
It's good to have
Overall, it works and I like the notifications. However, there are a LOT of ads and the pictures are tiny! I'd pay for an add free version.
Living in Florida, it's nice to have alerts and up to date info at my fingertips but the space they made for the graphic is like the size of an alert on an iPhone. Lots of wasted space that could be used to be able to see the graphic.
