Great app for us Chem E's
I love your app. Here are a few things that will help me out: 1) include a conversion table or interactive equation for converting temperature given in °F or °C into °K; 2a) tabular data for some common conversions like the weight of fresh water / sea water per gallon, with temp dependent variations; 2b) tabular data/calculation for steam at varying temperatures & pressures; 3) ability to alter the units for your ideal gas law equation, but still run the equation; 4) augment your velocity calculation to include heat transfer / fluid flow loss calculations/constants for pipe length, elbows and angular splits (T's and Y's); and 5) add Fick's Law to you equation list, along with an explanation of terms and an example.
Please take my suggestions as only constructive in nature. I've long been waiting for a tool like this, so I want to help make it even better. M.Marcus, BS, MS, PE
Finally, there is an app that I can use as a reference for school. I look forward to the updates to help with my other classes. - Easy to use and definitely worth the few bucks. Thanks again.
I picked up this app while searching for a handy chemical engineering app. It is extremely loaded with useful features, equations and references. Additionally, the programmer continues to add new features regularly. Highly recommended!
