I really like this app and the concept of it, but I think that there needs to be a better function for recognizing when someone else is using your phone while you’re driving. In my car, my phones connected to the Bluetooth which is nice because I can hear my music and the many notifications within the app whilst driving. I’m usually in the car with my husband who gets put on DJ duty and the app says that I’m using my phone and bringing my score down. I typically don’t speed, if I am it’s because I didn’t notice and I’ll slow down. This app is nice because it will make a sound if you go over the limit so I can be aware of accidental speeding quicker. I definitely don’t use my phone so I figured I’d do extremely well. Which I do for the most part, I just have that one major issue. I hate crazy drivers who think they’re above the law and their time is more important than law abiding drivers... hopefully this app can be more widespread and incentivize safe driving for idiots who need prizes to be considerate and rewarding those who already drive safely.

Thanks for your feedback, Manda! You bring up a great point and very valid feature request. Sometimes a driver's phone can get passed around to look up directions, send texts or in your case, play guest DJ and the driver shouldn't get dinged when this happens. While we have the option to mark if you're a passenger, this is a slightly different use case. We'll work on building a solution for "guest" phone handlers.
Great feedback and thanks again for your review! If you think of anything else, don't hesitate to reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Drive safe!
So far, I like it. Earning points to redeem for gift cards by just driving to my usual places, it’s pretty passive and easy. Just gotta make sure app is open to be accurate.
Plus, in the San Diego region they have a sweepstakes going on with a local radio station where they draw out users’ names from a hat for a weekly drawing of $1,000. I happened to be lucky enough to have my name pulled only 4 days after installing the app. So I’m super stoked about that.
I only have one complaint so far, which honestly has nothing to do with the app itself. My GPS sometimes goes wonky and decides to put me in the middle of a field, body of water, or nearby parallel street. As a result, sometimes I’ll be doing the speed limit or just under it on the street I’m actually on, but since the gps is off and has me on a nearby street for a few seconds it thinks I’m speeding because the speed limit on that street is much lower than the one I’m on. Not a major deal, but certainly makes driving consecutive miles without speeding for some of the goals in the app a real challenge. Especially when it happens while I’m on the freeway. Again, this is more of a phone/hardware issue than anything. Never had this problem with my old phone.
That being said, I love the app so far.
P.S. I think you should add a custom option for travel locations when you go in and classify your trips. And a way (chart or graph of some kind) to see stats of how frequently you go to those places.
I have been using this app for about two months now. It really keeps me in check. I was the very first winner of the $1000 prize. I added the app because I heard about it in a radio station in which they said you could win free gas prizes as welI as improve the safety of your driving. The app does keep me cautious of my speeding and beeps if I touch it even while sitting at a light waiting. I enjoy using it to date. I do wish that I did not have to leave it open. It would be nice if I could just leave it running on the back ground. Many times I clear my phone and accidentally swipe it off.
