Awful app

Ok, this app would be great if it actually worked. I have finally moved on to another app after dealing with this POS app for a long time (people say it just stopped working, I can’t remember when it worked right. I do vaguely remember it did after seeing a few other comments and then one change it stopped and never worked right again). It crashes constantly. Especially when loading images. In fact I can gaurantee if it doesn’t immediately load up the image within a few seconds it will crash (but only right after it finishes loading the image of course). Most frustrating is when it crashes while you post a long/thought out reply.

On top of that it won’t edit your comments. What it will do is warn you it couldn’t edit your comment, then show your comment edited if you hide and reshow your comment. Leaving you confused on if it was edited or not. It’s not, I’ve gone to my computer to look at the webpage and it tells you the truth that it didn’t edit your comment (why even bother to let you try then?).

I miss that you can swipe to go back but it’s so much nicer having an app that actually works (even gives you good previews of the images). I can’t believe it took me this long to getting around to replacing this app (I’ve hated it for a long time, just was so used to it never got around to changing).

Much better than Alien Blue

I had used alien blue for years, and enjoyed it so much that I upgraded to pro. Fast forward to today, the app is acting up, so I uninstalled/reinstalled but my pro upgrade could not be validated. After contacting AB support I was politely yet tersely informed that I would receive no assistance and that I would have to pay again if I wanted the pro version since AB had been purchased by Reddit itself. This is akin to buying a gym membership with Ballys, then having to pay again for the same membership after 24 Hour Fitness decides to purchase your Ballys location. It is morally and ethically unsound. That's when I found this app, and am much happier with not only the functionality and speed of the app but also with the aesthetics of the design and the intuitiveness of the interface. Overall a much better way to browse.

Good, but buggy lately

I'm a huge fan of this app's great interface and menu setup. However, as of lately I've been having various issues with the app.
For starters, lately I've been unable to make any posts via the app because the app's been unable to load a captcha.
Next, a lot of image posts will show up as "the image you are searching for is unavailable," yet if I go on my computer the images are there just fine. Furthermore, if I make a post from my computer, the app won't give me notifications for if I get comments on my post.
Lastly, if a post links to a page and I try to tap anything on the page once it's loaded (like a link on the page itself), the app will freeze and the only way I can get it to work is if I completely restart my phone.
Long story short, I really love the app, but various issues have made the experience less enjoyable and more frustrating for me.
