iAstroDaily is Jim Maynard's Celestial Influences and Pocket Astrologer adapted for use with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
It shows the 2018 calendar, one day’s square at a time, looking pretty much like the Celestial Influences wall calendar. iAstroDaily adjusts to the time zone you have selected in your device settings for Date and Time.
It also includes from the printed calendars: the ephemeris, Asteroid ephemeris, Planetary Motions chart, table of planetary stations, eclipse information, Planets visible in the Morning or Evening, Chinese New Year, Most Visible Meteor Showers, phases of the Moon, Perigee, Apogee, Occultations, Sunrise/Sunset, year calendar, discussion of signs, planets, and aspects, and Table of Ascendants. These can be zoomed. There is also a monthly calendar showing retrograde periods, and the ability to customize each day with appointments, memos, and notes. Notifications can be set, appointments can be repeating.
Touch a date on landscape calendar, rotate device, and you are at that date. Bug fixes.
Ratings and Reviews
Prior to cell phones for many years I would tell clients to get Jim Maynard’s Celestial calendar, a must for the Astrology crowd. I love that this is in an app! I finally had an idea to improve it. I remember all the amazing artwork on the calendar. It would be great to integrate that somehow.
Landscape calendar won’t enlarge on iPhone
The landscape calendar, with the entire year displayed, won’t enlarge on an iPhone. This is a bad problem since the type is so small that you can’t read it. Apps on iPhones almost always enlarge. Please fix this.
This app is full of bugs and does not work properly
If I could give this app less than one I would it deserves at least a -10. It is very hard to maneuver from one option to another and definitely does not serve my purpose. It has way too many bugs. It freezes. This is a waste of money.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
