iBots - an evasion tactics strategy game.
The iBots live on a planet far away. During your space travels you've crash landed on their planet. They are not happy about it. You are not a machine and you are not compatible with their architecture. They see you as a virus so they've put together an army to catch you. Their programming doesn't make them very smart. They can move in any direction but they aren't very good at avoiding obstacles. Also, they get angry easily and when they do they come straight for you ignoring anything in their path.
You must navigate their maze and trick them into running into the walls. Once they touch a wall or another iBot they short circuit and blow up.
iBots is a simple turn-based strategy game. You make a move first and then the iBots will make their move. The cycle repeats until all iBots are destroyed or until they catch you. There are several power-ups that randomly appear in the maze. Power-ups will help you defeat the iBots.
All new iBots 2.0 rewritten from the ground up. No more population goal, just play forever. Whole new scoring and rating system. No more achievements.

Nice Idea, But Almost Impossible to Win
The instructions say to destroy the enemy robots by making run into each other or into a wall. However, the robots only run into walls if they're "angry," otherwise they move around the wall and just keep coming. Also, the playing grid often makes it extremely difficult to lure the robots into hitting each other or even just to dodge the robots. These factors mean that you'll clear maybe, MAYBE one screen out of ten. It's an exercise in frustration.
There should be a larger limit on how close the robots can start in relation to the astronaut (your character) or perhaps not allow the astronaut to be blocked into a corner at move one.
Edit: After writing the review I realized that frequent use of the teleport button is apparently required. I'm leaving my rating since this means iBots is more chance than strategy.
This game is addictive now my wife won't give me back my iPad
Fun Puzzle Game !
I like the astronaut theme. The game is not easy but is fun.
