Awesome for food allergies

My daughter has egg and nut allergies and this app has been a life saver, especially when we are traveling and need to eat somewhere unfamiliar. Plus it has a clean interface that is very easy to use. First you set it up by selecting which of the top 8 allergens plus gluten you want to avoid. It remembers this information. Then to use it, you select a restaurant (currently more than 30 fast food and fast casual restaurants are included). Then it will show you which items on the menu are safe. There is an option to show all menu items and in this mode you see an indicator of which of your allergens are included in each item. I use the first mode, but if you have more than one person with allergies in your family, the second view could be more useful to you. I highly recommend this app!! A previous reviewer with gluten allergies panned the app, but it's not the apps fault that the foods contain things they are allergic to.

Don't waste your money on this app

I was so excited when I found this app. I can eat at fast food places, allergy-free? Big name fast food places even have "GF" marked on them, for gluten-free.

Well, unless I want apple slices, apple juice, certain sauce packets or soda, there's nothing I can eat at these places. And I have a corn allergy, so foods with corn syrup are out. That's not an allergen option to mark in the app. If it were, the soda & sauce packets would be gone too.

Now I know why there were no reviews on this app.

I just flushed $4.99 down the drain.

It's too bad that this app can't live up to it's name "I Can Eat".

No, if you have multiple food allergies, you cannot eat at fast food restaurants.

Stick with your packed lunch from home.

Shame on the app developers for promising something they can't deliver on.

Lemon!

I purchased, downloaded, and installed this app, and it doesn't work. When you open it, you are supposed to use a two step process to accept the user agreement. The first step is to click "Yes". The second step is to click "Agree". The link for the second step is a dud. I remove the app and reinstalled it three times, but I still can't get past the agreement page.
