What's New in Version 3.0
Introducing payments through Unified Payment Interface (UPI) on iMobile.
ICICI Bank is the first bank to provide UPI integrated on its mobile banking app.
You can now transact (send money, request money, receive money, respond to pay requests) using UPI and manage your Virtual Payment Address, or VPA*(for example abc@icici) from the iMobile app.
Create your unique VPA @icici now and use UPI to send and request money!!
You may create a Virtual Payment Address (VPA) using alphabets, numbers or special characters ( "." only). It's not mandatory to use combination of all three for creation of a VPA.
*UPI is available only for Resident Indian Customers.
NEFT Transfer not available - NRI
I cannot transfer funds using NEFT from iMobile. It shows options only for transferring within my linked accounts or icici accounts. But i can transfer funds if i login to your website. Why is this feature limited?
I have already verified my account 4-5 times by sending sms and entering details. Still it asks for activation. Really becomes a pain and negates the purpose of mobile banking when u actually have to use it on the go. Deleting it.
Not an easy to install
Not an easy to install especially if you r outside of india. Help from email and phone are not at all helpful
