iCollections is an expertly designed application which helps you keep your desktop organized. The app's unique features are what make it the most popular method of desktop organization for Mac users.
iCollections lets you create areas on your desktop so you can sort and arrange your icons. This helps you keep related items together so your files (pictures, documents, screenshot, applications, etc.) are organized and easy to find. iCollections fully supports Retina display.
iCollections lets users see their images - even in slideshow form - right on their desktop. Each Collection and Photo Frame can be customized, including style and color, to suit the user’s preferences, offering a fun, personalized way for Mac users to make their desktop more of their own.
Select Photo Frame from the main menu to create a picture frame on the desktop. The Photo Frame will display a collection of your pictures as a slide show, eg. new picture every day. Just select your pictures folder or Photos© app album and revisit your most wonderful moments.
Display your favourite website right on the Desktop - Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, news, or any other of your choice.
Not only does iCollections offer a way to vibrantly store files and folders on the desktop, but it also offers a way to increase task and time management effectiveness by offering a streamlined desktop where everything is ultra-organized.

Ratings and Reviews
So far, great app
Just started using iCollections as replacement for DragThing which is not being updated to 64 bit and will not work beyond Mojave. Seems to be very similar in function as basically a supplemental dock to provide access to apps, folders and documents you frequently use. My quick evaluation is very positive, doing just what I need.
The appearance is very up to date with transparency and customizable fonts., You can create tabs in each dock with different collections.
One issue so far is the size of the docks. I wish there was an option to have it minimize to a smaller size when not open. Would also like to change color of the font on the tabs to something different than the name of the dock.
Do Not Defile Your Mac With This Program
Out of the box, this app appears to be just the thing. However, if you want to use custom settings, the ugly underbelly begins to show, I decided to use a custom icon and font size for the collections. I went through each collection one by one, set the size, spacing, and font parameters, and. made sure everything looked the way I wanted. After rebooting, most of the collections reverted to the default setting. I deleted the collections and started over. Upon reboot, several of the collections again reverted to the default settings. Using tabs was within a collection was a horrific experience. I sent a note to support via the form, and I can only assume it went to the nevermind box. I have battled this for months; longer than I should have. While there is no hope for me to get a refund because I wasted too much time trying to resolve the issues, hopefully you can learn from my mistake.
Developer Response ,
Dear user, please contact our support to explain the problem. Also if you want to get a refund. We answer ALL emails.
A very well conceived and inplemented application.
Like many people (apparently) I came to icollections because I was looking for a Mac equivalent to Fences on Windows. I have been very happy with this app. I’ve been using it for years now, and have found it both reliable and capable. As a time saving utility, I feel it represents a good value, and the developer has consistently updated the program, justifying my investment. If you are the type of user who likes a clean desktop, but appreciates quick access to files and folders that may of necessity be spread all around your machine, I think you will be very happy with this app. I would recommend it without reservation.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
