ID Weeds is produced by the University of Missouri's College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources' Division of Plant Science.
ID Weeds allows you to search for weeds by their common or latin name, view a list of weeds, or identify weeds based upon a number of different characteristics. Details about each weed are presented, along with photograph(s) of the weed specified.

Bug fixes and speed enhancements
I think this is a solid, if not spectacular app for identifying weeds in the south central region. It walks you through a process of questions which limit your choices of possible weeds, the more criteria you select.
Found that some of the more technical questions didn't give any help to the layman except basic (sometimes very cryptic) photos. Some text explanation might be nice.
Also found that when scrolling through plant selections, it would interpret a pause in my scrolling as me choosing that plant and sending me into the detailed plant explanation.
Would really like it if all photos of plant came up when going into detail screen (current version makes me scroll through them).
Would also like if detail provided control strategies.
Just downloaded. Like it so far but difficult to scroll down the list of weeds without opening something. Agree the photos could be bigger.
It's a handy app, but I wish the pictures were bigger. I'd buy a version with bigger better pictures.
