What's New in Version 1.6.0
We've heard several themes in recent feedback for the app. "Can I see a snapshot of my availability when selecting times for a date poll?" "Can I suggest more than one time on a day?" "Do people need the app for me to share with them (they don't!)?" "How can I quickly see the status of a date poll?" "Why are all of the developers at goHappy so good looking?"
Four of those themes are true (and we can't do anything about the last one). In response, we've made some major changes in the app to make things easier:
• You can now find local places to meet with friends. Just start typing and we'll find the places for you.
• It's now easier to create your next get-together. We've added a plus button that allows you to quickly create a plan or moment, and we've broken the create and share into two easy steps.
• The app's calendar now has shading that shows how busy you are on a given day so you have an idea of what your free time looks like before you even tap. When you do tap, you'll get a quick snapshot of what's on your phone's calendar to decide if that day is good for you and then you can move right on to the next selection in less taps. Easy-peasy!
• You can now quickly see the status for all of your date polls. We've added an easy to use grid that shows all the votes for all of the date suggestions. The vote totals are added for you and you can simply confirm the one that wins.
• For new users to the app, we updated the onboarding process so that it's easier to get your first plan going (we hope!).
As usual, we've also been busy kicking all of the bugs out of the app and have been working to make everything faster. More fun stuff to come and please keep the feedback coming (but enough about the developers).
