Terrible controls, buggy/glitchy and blurry graphics
What a let down this game is. The controls to move your character and use the special abilities are unresponsive half the time. Tons of glitches and bugs. And the graphics look downright awful - even on the iPad Pro 10.5! They need to improve the resolution and the detail of each level for better devices like the iPad Pro 10.5 and new iPhones. ‘Inside’ and ‘Oddmar’ are two platformers that are pretty recent and they do exactly what this game should have. It’s just a bad port is what it comes down to. And it is a premium price game, so I don’t think it’s too much to expect a certain kind of quality and professionalism. I say that last part because the devs have yet to respond to ANY feedback or critiques with no update in sight that I’m aware of.
Very disappointing as I could have considered this a must buy if it weren’t for all the glaring negatives. Only if the devs can fix the issues would I reconsider.
Fun game but...
This is one of the best games I have played in awhile. Unfortunately there are some issues. The game is laggy and runs poorly the farther you get in the game. It also keeps crashing on me right in the middle of a level and I keep having to start them over. It’s actually getting to the point where I can’t even finish a level. Also the level where you are escaping with the brother in the metal ball has a glitch where you are unable to get the ambulate piece. Max is unable to jump up into the room on the left side to get the piece. I wish you would fix the problems in an update soon because it really is a fun game, when it works...
Fun and Visually Beautiful
The game reminds of Limbo, but has the opposite atmosphere — joyful and bright, rather than horrific and dark. The animations between gameplay are wonderful. They make you feel like you’re participating in a movie.
The controls could be tighter and it would be nice to be able to adjust the position of the movement circle. On the iPhone X it feels to low on the screen, making ‘down’ difficult. But, overall, great game!
