LVL is the new minimalistic puzzle that blends 3D into 2D with a twist!
- minimalist design
- 50+ unique levels with 150+ incredible puzzles
- more than 5 hours gameplay time
- 11 different languages support
LVL forces players to think in 3D while solving puzzles in 2D. Most of the puzzles of LVL can not be solved by interacting pieces on a single face. Players have to think possible solutions that involves replacing pieces on current face and opposite face of it.
Good fun, good value
The rotation, reflection, and internal pieces are great for exercising your spatial intelligence.
Some of the later levels are diabolical but only one normal level (plus level 51 red side) took more than an hour, so it's a good way to kill a short burst of time. Also since each color is independent per puzzle, and there are multiple ways to progress, you never feel "stuck".
It's kind of annoying you can't even see level 51 again after you finished it without resetting the whole game. You pull down but it won't let you tap. Boo.
Great Puzzle Game for Short Bursts
Have a few free minutes at a time to fill with a game? Looking for a way to challenge your brain and depth perception? Do you like right angles and straight lines?
If you answered yes to any of those questions then LVL is probably for you. The puzzles are legitimately challenging and each one takes no longer than 3-5 min to solve (maybe longer at higher levels).
I would dock a star because the game becomes a little predictable in its solutions later on (roughly 40-50 levels in) but that's more a causality of the design than anything.
Best puzzle game!
I usually don't play puzzle games but I made an exception and gave this a try. I was beyond pleased with the music, simple colors and fantastic gameplay. The mixture of 2D and 3D puzzles is done extremely well and keeps you entertained. The puzzles are complex at times but not unsolvable. My only complaint is that I wish there were more levels!
