What the press said:
“MASTERPIECE! Inside is a 2D puzzle platformer that builds upon what made Limbo great, and in fact builds something greater.”
10/10 – IGN
“Inside expands on the concepts and scope of its predecessor in wildly creative ways, and it's so immaculately designed and constructed from top to bottom that it almost feels suitable for display in an art museum. This is one hell of a follow-up.”
5/5 – Giant Bomb
“Gorgeous art and animations, devious puzzle design and a pitch-black sense of humor. A perfectly paced series of escalating "holy s**t" moments.”

Ratings and Reviews
Deciphering this game is no easy task—it feels like a metaphor. Is it a commentary on the fragile nature of trust and human connection? A scathing critique of our blind adherence to authority? Or is it just really weird? Regardless, INSIDE is an incredible journey with increasingly bizarre encounters that mix action with clever puzzle designs. The game isn’t meant to be entirely understood. It’s meant to be experienced.
Perfect in so many ways!
There is a certain allure to the grimness and desperation in the art in this game. That’s what originally captured my attention before I got it. I can’t get over the pure complexity within such ironically simple detail. It’s mesmerizing and stunningly beautiful right down to every little gritty background highlight or foreboding foreground shadow. Absolutely insane! I’m typically a console, first person shooter, type of player so not having traditional buttons or joystick controls takes a little to get used to. I found the simple control mechanisms to be really smooth and very intuitive. Though, I did find myself going “panic mode” during a few of the more intense, run, run fast, RUN FASTER...or you’re going to die, sections and found myself missing the analog feel of a joystick controller. I had some sweaty palms and my heart went up about 15bpm. The animation is smooth and extremely lifelike, right down to character movement, dust particles in the air, and specs of debris, under water, that illuminate through rays of ambient light. As far as the story? ...there’s a story? I was just along for the crazy ride so I have no opinion on that. This game is like a roller coaster ride for your mind. Enjoy the Hell out of it, I sure did!! And don’t be one of those weenies that misses out on an awesome game experience because someone else didn’t like the ending. GET IT!
Amazing game worth every penny
I played the demo a while back, and fell in love instantly. I finally bought the game on my phone, played it all the way through, loved it so much that I turned around and bought it and replayed the whole thing all over again on my ps4. I can honestly say this may be one of my favorite mini games yet. I’m sad each time when it ends that there is not more of it for me to play, because I feel as if I would enjoy playing more of this game even passed its end. I’m a little bit disappointed that some things weren’t fully explained by the end, however it was still unbelievable enjoyable to play all the way through. I would love to see a second one maybe from a different characters perspective going through other areas of this world, especially since it’s easy to see that the setting it’s in is huge as it is. I’m sure there could be a whole other game in this same world, where you don’t even see the same areas as this, and also a different outcome in the end. Either way, I love the creators of this game, and have already even before this game, with of course games like Limbo. And they’ve done it once again. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
