I am a former Wells Fargo customer, since the switch to Flagstar bank everything has been in complete shambles. I’ve never dealt with such an unprepared, disorganized and honestly clueless institution. I initially downloaded another flagstar banking app which directed me to this sad excuse of an app - which doesn’t even have any of the capabilities listed in the description above. It’s a slow app that freezes, kicks me out, asks me to re-verify my identity every 2-3 log-ins (basically daily since the app freezes then kicks me out). Their customer service phone number is useless since they “don’t know” why i’m experiencing these problems and have no solutions to offer me. I’m so disappointed with this bank. I do not recommend Flagstar to anyone. I will be closing my accounts and finding a new bank.
Where do I start?
I downloaded the other app first, which I liked, it had touch login. However it then directed me to download this app. No touch ID (not needed, but very, very convenient), it’s slow, makes me re-validate myself every 3 or so logins, freezes, and horribly organized. Switching from Wells Fargo, this app (and bank) have sorely disappointed me and left a horrible first impression. First they lose my card and checks in the mail, and now I just paid $0.99 for this (or at least was charged as soon as I downloaded and suspect this is the only bank app that makes you pay to download...)? Considering switching banks yet again.
As bad as Flagstar bank as a service.
Have my mortgage serviced by Flagstar, and I called customer rep inquiring the tax escrow account and the customer rep lied to me!!!! Told me something totally different that what I was told a week earlier when i called.
I asked about how they make property tax payment, I was told, Flagstar doesn’t know what quarter the payment is for and simply know the amount and the due date, these two pieces of information , abosolutely nothing else. If I wanna know more, CALL THE LOCAL TAX OFFICE YOURSELF!!! You cannot find a worse bank than Flagstar.
