Customer Reviews

Once upon a time

Here's a true story kids. Once upon a time, a company Named PayPal had an idea that simplified money transfers and it worked great. Then some really educated people who needed to justify and maintain their positions of employment had bigger, "better" ideas. They decided that just because something works, and works great, that they would have to find some way to "improve" it. Then they started bugging people with lame advertisements about crap that nobody cares about, all while their product was on life support due to all of the "improvements" they had made, and people were pleading with them to fix it. PayPal shouted "let us know, we're always listening". Again the people shouted, but their voices were never heard. Then, in the middle of all of this, other companies with real, working ideas sprouted and ............. Stay tuned for part two.

Seriously though, I only use PayPal now if I absolutely must. I find it far from convenient now and in fact, I find it more of a nuisance and over complicated.

Great App

Honestly after reading the other reviews people are so worried about percentages and an absolute must if using this app. In my perspective I find it much easier than my own bank account. I use the paypal debit card all the time and never once use my actual bank card. A free app isn't always a free app, there is always going to be some kind of payment to be made. People and their personal drama really amaze me.

One more thing when I have yard sales or an auction of items at home you always get that one person or a few that don't carry cash or they broke something and claim they only have a credit card. The paypal here app is a great advantage to saying well here, swipe your card and you can buy it right now.

Good except for a couple of items

Good app, but it will not allow you to access your line of credit. If you have a line, then you have to go to the webpage.
Used it again the other day, several versions after my first review, and I purchased something that with tax came to .56 cents over what I had as my balance. So it asked me which credit card or bank account I wanted to use for the balance of 56 cents. I canceled the transaction and went to the webpage, not easy on an iPhone and sent it. It took the complete amount from my line of credit.

It doesn't give you the option to do all the things the webpage does, but if it's just paying for something simple it's okay.
