Siri who?

I have been patient, I have been loyal. Apple, I'm talking to you. No longer will I speak into my phone looking like a complete lunatic, mutter the same phrases 10 times over into my hand in attempts to be "safer by using voice control" with your devices. No more, would I ever attempt to use Siri as it's become anything but convenient, which for me, would be the only reason.

That is until I could ask Siri ,"Open Google app" which is now the only words she hears.

Google takes the idea of Siri, the cleverness of Alexa and the broad range of connectivity that only someone like google could potentially reach to. With it comes a sleek, very fast, "assistant" and for lack of a better term, I've fallen in love.

I was never one to think it would be all that helpful, but once you get started, and it starts to really learn the way you operate, it becomes convenient more and more, finding or teaching you things otherwise would have taken a little to a lot longer to find.

In this day and age where the time is 'Now!' Google responds with a solid and resolute, "here."

Fast map routing, great suggestions, and even better security with what has become my assistant inside one another.

I loved you apple, but siri in comparison, has shown me the true lack of growth from them recently and when i think hard bout what I could no longer "do or live without," I can't mutter anything besides google, and I'm not scared to say that.

Perfect!!! feature taken away with update?

I love Google with all of my soul to be completely honest. Always has the best and newest thing to help me in the exact way I would want. This app is super helpful because it's like what Apple tries in many apps all condensed into one perfect hub for everything.

Just one small feature that I kinda miss is the little bubbles under the search bar that said weather and doodles and sports etc. where you could quickly see these things in an organized format. I mostly used it for the weather to easily access tomorrow's forecast, and the subtraction of this feature makes it a bit more complicated than the way it was. Please consider bringing it back!

This Webpage Is Not Available

For the most part, I like the direction the app has taken. Sure, some of the "improvements" are a little unnecessary, while other convenient ones have been taken away (one of the features I really miss is being able to search by taking a photo), but I can live. The newest update expanded upon the news system and made the interface more desktop-like in many cases, which is good as it recognizes that our devices have greater capabilities that can be fulfilled. However, recently I've been encountering a significant issue of "This webpage is not available" error messages kicking me off websites that I had no problem accessing before. Hopefully it is only a simple bug that I can expect to be fixed in the next update. Overall, I recommend as an alternative to Safari.
