Please fix it!!
I loved this app. I was obsessed with this app. I have used it for years. It was user friendly and well organized. I never had any trouble until the most recent update 7.1.3
Now it doesn't work at all. It won't connect to the internet and it won't play in the offline mode. This makes me very sad. I will have to find a new app for my podcasts.
Update: it's fixed and I'm back in love. Thanks Stitcher!
Has this app gotten worse?
Extremely long start times. Missing content messages occur often. Often fails to resume episode after passing. Inconsistent network connections. Sluggish interface.
I was recommended this app over the regular podcast one and initially liked it because it's well organized and doesn't download to your phone all the time but have found the app to be very problematic. The times it works perfectly are great but few and far between. Kind of regret recently signing up for premium.
Fixed now?
I experienced what many of the folks who reviewed in the past 30 hours also experienced -- Stitcher wouldn't connect to the internet and nothing worked.
It appears to be better now, and it didn't even require an app update. Also, 90% of my apps seem to be totally broken since the last iOS update, and my phone keeps restarting, even in quiet moments when I'm doing nothing particularly CPU consuming.
Are you not all experiencing that too? iOS 10.3.2, iPhone 7+, lots of free space, no heavy multitasking, no junky apps.
But mostly: Stitcher seems good again. So fear not. Also, why does it seem like podcast apps are more prone to being busted or fatal to your CPU than other sorts of apps? Isn't that weird, in 2017?
