YES! This is the "GREEN ONE"!
MacWorld Magazine Loves LED Football 2
Peter Cohen raves:
touchGrove’s attention to detail and desire to recreate that old-school handheld game experience is, without question, the big draw of this game—playing it, you can’t help but feel like you’re holding a plastic game in your hand, something powered by a 9-volt battery.

LED Football 2 has it all!
RUNNING! Scramble in any direction, even backwards!
KICKING! More accurate than ever before.
PASSING! Go for a touchdown or gain yardage.
Now you're in charge! Total Control LED Football 2 with Passing means you have total offense. Now the power is in your fingertips to bring the defense to it's knees. Watch as your receiver goes wide and your Quarterback locks on. Hit the orange PASS button and let that bad boy fly over the heads of that shifty defense (watch out, they can and will intercept you!) and into the waiting arms of your fastest receiver. Now you take control of the receiver as you dodge that line of defense. They are mean, but there is no stopping you now, it's just one slippery sweet ride into the endzone for a TOUCH DOWN!
LED FOOTBALL 2 - They need to re-write the playbook. Because this is real Mattel electronic football 2 action for the iPhone and only available in the App Store, for the super-low price of 99 cents.

This one could also (have been a long time ago) Awesome
I have purchased led football 1 and 2 and they both have a great feel and look to them. So again (like my review for the first 1) Thank you. Yet again....why doesn't the gameplay match up as well? I mean if you are going to make a cool retro game machine, it should play AND look like the original. For example, in the original the defender had to move toward you before you could pass. If you threw it before he moved in then it was an interception. I believe other reviewers have mentioned a kick off. There definately needs to be 4 quarters and the quarter should not end until you get tackled (I haven't checked for sure with football 2, but in your football 1 the game just ended after the first quarter). Why not pick up an original (or rerelease) to get the gameplay correct. Definately looking for some updates on these. Oh yeah and I look forward to the baseball to.
Update: Just like Football 1, my initial rating of 4 stars has been reduced to 2 for lack of a gameplay update fix. I have given up hope for any update other than back graphics.
How cool is it that I can now play my favorite game of all time anytime and anywhere I want. Folks this game is from 1978 you can't even get one of these for less than $50 bucks used. Now these awesome developers have brought it back to life with this awesome app. Yeah they had to change it up a bit so it would make sense on a phone. But seriously, what more could you ask for? It looks insanely real. So happy to have this slice of my childhood in my back pocket ready to go down memory lane whenever the mood strikes. Truly awesome!
I would give it 10 stars if I could!
worse than the old LED version
It is amazing to me that the designers of this application couldn't manage to put together the features of the old 1970s version. First off the computer plays less interesting than the LED player, so you always get tackled when passing by a defensive player for example. I also think I remember things like interceptions being possible in the 70s version, and that doesn't seem to exist. The worse thing is the game also doesn't let you disable sounds, which is why I'm giving it one star; that's a must feature. As a goof for a $1, I guess it is OK but if you liked the old 70s game this isn't nearly as much fun.
