Customer Reviews

K. Cool.

So, the app is more or less almost like that actual desktop site- but I have a few complaints about the app and the website alike. So for starters, it bothers me that there is no timeline- I have no idea when people posted things. It's really not a big deal- just a personal pet peeve. I'd like it if there was a little "3h" or "12h" or "1d" etc. next to a post so I could know how long ago something was posted. Y'know. Also, time brackets for personal messages would be appreciated as well- sometimes, I worry how long a message has been sitting in my inbox and that I'm replying in an untimely manner because I have no idea when said person sent me this message. In addition to the time brackets on personal messages, it would be nice if one could view and entire conversation between themselves and the other person rather than just seeing the other person's message. Sometimes it's nice to see what you replied, so one may remember the context in which the other had replied. Another complaint about the app in particular is how you can't edit text for and item to be reblogged, you can only add text, whereas on the desktop version, one can edit all the text including that from the previous blogger's post. Other than these few small details which are mostly just personal peeves, the app is great an easy to navigate- simple and self-explanatory visuals and buttons and whatnot. Keep it up.

This app changed my life

The tumblr app allows me to easily run my blog when I do not have a computer nearby. I am on the couch but the computer is on the table, no problem. Just going to whip out my handy dandy tumblr app and bam, slam, alakazam, I am blogging once again. Everyday inconvenience of getting out of a comfortable position to blog on the computer is avoided. Thanks tumblr app! Although it has some minor technical issues, the general application is still the raddest thing ever. Seriously. I would recommend this app to everyone-even people without a tumblr account-yet. After all, it is never too late to get in with this fun action. Therefore, you should definitely get this app since it will improve your happiness and life (but it might also ruin your life since you could get obsessed with stuff, but that depends on what type of blog you have, what stuff you like, what type of music you listen to, what stuff you read, what stuff you watch-let me put this simply-fandoms. Fandoms may ruin your life.) Long story short, awesome app and I don't regret downloading it. Nope. Not even one iota.

Tumblr has changed me forever

First off let me start off by saying that Tumblr has changed my life. Being pretty anti-social before Tumblr found me, I didn't have much to do except read and listen to music. Now I can blog all day long and there are some blogs so dedicated to being supportive for people, that helped me a lot. HOWEVER, with the new updates I've found that the app crashes more, doesn't let me know when I've hit daily post limit, won't allow me to Save Draft because I've hit daily post limit, and if I'm on my dash scrolling and I get a reblog or like on a post it automatically jumps to that post. Then when I want to go back to where I was on the dash it refreshes everything! All of these have been irksome, but especially not telling you when you've hit daily post limit, I'll be going and going not realizing nothing has been posted to my blog! And then I can't even save my personal text post to Save Draft because it keeps saying "you've exceeded daily post limit". OBVI! I want to save it so I can post it later! Uggggh. Please try to fix these then it won't even be "5 stars" it'll be 100x.
