This is a first person shooter in three different environments showing what's possible using GarageGames' Torque's 3D tools for game development. iTGE is built to natively load projects from Torque Game Engine and deploy them to the iPhone.
iTGE supports the full TGE set of features, so you can prototype your iPhone game in TGE on PC or Mac, then optimize it for deployment to the iPhone using iTGE. The levels playable in this game are unoptimized from the PC.
WARNING: If you have one of the new 3Gs handsets, do NOT download this game yet!!! Wait for an update to fix known crash bugs!
I paid 4$ to get ifps online, and you added better things in this game then that. First of all, in ifps online you need
To add more weapons and a switch weapon button, not just pick up, they should all have unlimited ammo, but alldiffrent attributes, for example one has large explasion and slow fire rate ( master blaster for this one possibley) one with medium explosion and and medium fire rate ( default weapon) and the last with fast fire rate and small explosion ( crossbow ). Also make larger levels were there is long range shooting like halo or metroid.
Needs an update
The game isn't terrible, just needs work.
This is what I reccomend
1. Make the game play in landscape, the controls would be pretty good if you just had more thumb space.
2. Have graphics settings for the different devices (we don't all have 3gs's and 3rd gen touches).
3. I know the idevices have limits, but get some more bots in game.
4. Add at least 3-4 more guns, just a cross bow isn't gonna cut it.
Overall, I would say that it's a pretty good game considering it's free. It just needs some tweeking, that's all!
Looks nice, terrible performance
This seems to be a tech demo, and unfortunately, it's an awful one. While the models, textures, environments, and effects all look pretty decent, the performance is awful. It takes forever to start the game, with not even a progress bar for feedback (I had thought it froze and was about to force quit when it finally went to the main menu). Level loading is too long for what are actually in the levels, and once inside the level, movement is very clunky/slow. I would never play a game like this. Also, the menu graphics are pretty bad (but I'm assuming that's because they were quickly drawn up just for the demo).
