My last review of the previous version was 3 stars. Now I'm rating it at 4 stars with the current update. The ability to move and target in the zoomed out mode is great for shooting over obstacles. The AI seems to be improved and the targeting of the CPU has improved. I was also judging my initial impression of the CPU targeting on the first level. I did find that playing the Campaign Mode and the CPU becomes tougher as you progress. The controls are still a little dodgy as you will occasionally get hung up on areas and your mech will spin around. The multiplayer option at least tells you if anyone is available now before you waste time checking each server to find out nobody is there. I don't get this as everyone has wanted a multiplayer game so why there is NEVER anyone on the servers is the main reason I held back on the 5th star Overall, this game blows away iShoot graphically. I prefer the weapon purchase feature in ishoot as it adds an element of strategy that is missing in Iron Sight. As long as the updates keep coming on this one and they tweak the controls and people become available to play on the servers this game will be one of my top 5 apps.
Iron Sight is a really tight game. The graphics, gameplay and sound are all top notch. If you like turn-based shooters, this game knocks all the rest out of the water. Worth well over 99 cents. The mulltiplayer function is awesome, just need some more players. Hopefully more people will buy this game so I can find a challenger quicker. I suggest buying this game. EDIT for new version - New version allows player to enable the trajectory beam which was really needed.. Good work on the update.
DO NOT BUY. Boring, slow and lacking in features. Ho Hum...
What a piece of crap... it's the top tank game??? I didn't know taks worked like this... Come on... THIS SHOULD BE A FREE DEMO - hardly worth even $0.99 - VERY glad I did not pay more - I can not recommend it until it has allot more to offer. I've actually delected it from my phone - THE ONLY GAME I've DELETED so far besides Dark Hill. I will update it if the game improves with updates. UPDATE: In fact, since they raised the price considerably before an update has been done, I'm taking it off my iphone until it's improved. This is ony one of two games I've been seriously dissapionted in.
