Customer Reviews
Updated review
Ok, I am overdue updating my review. But I'm happy to report that all the recent changes have been great. My recipe box has stayed consistent and all my treasured recipes are in one place. I am grateful for the search capabilities and use them often to find more wonderful recipes to try. My only criticism is that many of the great photos that were previously included have been replaced by generic table settings. Not helpful.
What have you done!
This use to be the most wonderful and helpful app. Since your last upgrade, I can no longer see my recipe box. Now I read that is because I did not purchase the SYNC upgrade! Really??? So now I am trying to rebuild my recipe box and can't get any recipes to save. If you want more money, why not increase a purchase price. This is so frustrating.
Love this App!
I have been using this app for years and it is my go-to source for recipes and ideas. I also enjoy the daily emails I get from Epicurious with five or so recipes of the day. The recipe reviews are just as important as the recipes, and I always read them before making a recipe and frequently follow suggested modifications (unlike some users who openly hate it when reviewers modify the recipes in their review. The result is a great community of cooking enthusiasts all sharing ideas on one convenient app.
Absolutely essential
Before this app, I didn't cook. It's changed my life and showed me that good cooking doesn't have to be complicated or difficult.
Two quibbles: first, it would be great if recipes in the Recipe Box could be organized by category (breakfast, picnics, etc.). That option is available on another recipe app I use, and it's extremely helpful.
Second, I agree that the reviews are an essential part of the app. But I can't figure out how to post a review myself. Including instructions would be helpful.
