Great game, fun challenge. If you like well-polished puzzles and if you like to know that you have plenty of games to look forward to, then buy the Temple series. And while it might have been better if the games had not been broken up, I will never know. What I do know is that in this format, you have the ability to jump from game to game, and that, for me, is a huge advantage. If you get stuck or bored, just switch to another Temple. I will definitely replay most of these games, so add great replay value to their list of attributes.
I bought this game, thinking I was getting the whole Ancient Quest of Saqqarah game - like the one I have on my computer. I love that game, but Saqqarah - Temple of Bast (the first game in the list because they are in alphabetical order) is no such thing. It is a mere part of the whole game. I will not buy the other parts unless they are included in the whole game. The excitement and adventure of the game occurs when I finish all the sets in a part and am allowed to move on to another part of the whole game (and at various levels of play). A previous reviewer was absolutely right about 2 of his comments: Buyer Beware, and people will not put up with this charade and stop buying these games altogether.
What a great game. I purchased this due to it being on a top staff pick list on iTunes. I have been pretty obsessed with Azken as of late, and this is the only game that could pull me away from it. One addiction to the next LOL.
I love these games. The sound is superb, the graphics pleasing and the gameplay mechanics are deep. I can't wait to buy and play all the other temples! It's like an addicting book series. :)
Keep em comin!
