A Beautiful Design
This is the perfect logic game for those with a criminal bent. It combines logic, probability, planning and sheer perseverance. As a diehard Sudoku and Kenken player, I am always on the lookout for new logic games that I can really challenge myself with, and this game is truly in a field of its own. I have found no other game in the iTunes store that demands such skill from its players and grants such a sense of satisfaction at the game's completion. For the inexperienced, the game can last minutes. For the experienced, it can go on for days. This is not actually a hacking game, though. It is a hacking-themed game, yes, but at its heart it is a logic game. There is no programing of any sort, and those who want a game with that feature should look elsewhere.
Needs ALOT Of Improvement
This is fun....
Except that you can't progress at all, and the servers just get increasingly harder.
I think that the firewall limit should be raised to eight, but take increasingly more servers hacked to get increasingly higher levels. Also, make the server firewall levels higher and lower with the number of viruses and the firewall level. Difficulty modes would be wonderful, so it's not so hard for beginners, but not so easy for seasoned players. Save slots are essential, too, in case you want to try again in a particularly hard game, or save before taking a big risk, etc.
Fun, but needs alot of improvement.
Good game but needs touching up
Over all this is a good brain teaser/ strategy game, I aprrciate how simple it is to play yet how challenging it can be to make your next move.
A few ideas that could improve this game:
Change the randomness of the firewall stengths, there have been times that I didn't get very far at all and I was doing well that at one point I was surrounded by 4 or 5, level 8 servers and I was completely screwed. I think this is the biggest problem with this game.
Secondly I think a bonus firewall should be provided to you after you hack XX servers regardless if you have 2 already, giving you a max total of 3 firewalls.
That's about it. Other than that, this game is enjoyable, not the normal basic platformer you see everywhere, which is new and interesting.
