Tips for surviving the fight.
First of all I love this game and I am fine that I payed 10$ for it. (tips) fat zombies tend to be a problem the solution to this problem double barreled shotgun. Hard to find and works with one shot if you are within 10 feet of the zombie. I recamend that you don't waste ammo on the regular zombies.
You can have three weapons at a time the 2 top ways to survive is to use the assult rifle, db shotgun, and the chainsaw or chaingun. I know what you are saying these are "noob" weapons but i find that these are the most reliable beacause 1. Easy to find fricken ammo. 2. Kills really fast. 3. You don't have to wait until the end of the game to get them. I use the assult rifle for boss fights beacause you can't run out o' ammo it doesn't do very much damage but it gets the job done.
The spider things are easily dispatched with the chainsaw. Just wait for them to get close and bam you have zombie sushi or some other gross fictisious food. I think I should move away from the enpro lab levels and move on to hell. I think that hell is fun but kind of annoying the flying heads are a little stupid but fun all the same. go for head shots later in the game it kills faster instead of wasting 15 seconds on just firing aimlesly. Enemies get harder to kill when you get to "hell" they take more shots to die. Remember don't get rid of the db shotgun. That's all for this app.
Great Gaming Experience
This is one of the best gaming experiences I've had on my iPhone, and I buy a lot of games. I really enjoyed this. The controls work fantastically. The accelerometer controls could not have been better, and the reload, dodge, switch weapons buttons worked perfectly. I wasn't sure about an on rails shooter, but this works and plays great, and it looks amazing. Very fun. I'd certainly buy more games using this engine. Actually, I'd love to see a game using this engine that had RPG elements incorporated.
I've purchased pretty much all of the big action games in the apps store, and this game is easily (and by far) the best of them. In fact, of the hundred or so games I've purchased from the app store of any genre, this game is at least in the top five (competing with some of the best TD games for the top spot.)
The combination of the detailed environments, interesting (and well animated enemies,) and well told storyline really make this game immersive. I enjoyed the story quite a bit, and would love to see where it goes next.
Enough can not be said for how great the graphics look, either. The graphics, animations, and environments are all amazing (the best I've seen on an iphone,) and the framerate is very smooth throughout.
I'm very glad i bought this game. It's amazingly designed, polished, and fun. Very highly recommended. Hope there's a sequel soon.
An awesome showcase for the platform.
As developers are starting to get a grasp of what type of gameplay is most suitable for the platform, more and more adequate titles are being released on the iPhone. Personally, I found first-person shooters too cumbersome to play on a touch-screen, especially on the go. Doom Resurrection trades classic FPS formula for on-rails approach, and it's a great fit for the system. My initial reaction was negative, when the game was announced. But I was curious see how it came to life. Tilt-to-shoot controls are very convenient and challenging at the same time. With context-dependent dodge and cover systems, the gameplay itself is fast, dynamic and cleverly designed with just enough variety to keep you entertained all the way through 8-level campaign. You stop thinking about the experience being preset after the first few scenes. It’s simple, immersive and downright fun. Level stats and secret item stashes add to replayability. Visuals are top-notch. And not only technically - the scenery is well staged with quirky little details, like flashing context icons on your robotic partner’s screen. The frame-rate is silky-smooth even on 2G. I think this turned out to be far better than Prey port. It is perfect to play in short bursts and designed with the platform in mind. A really fun and well-produced title and a good companion for your Doom 3 copy.
