What's New in Version 1.4.2
You know that new OS that's coming out, this version is better friends with it.
Works for Me
I'm a new user of the iPhone version. I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews saying the latest update didn't sync. I went to the developer website and found a knowledge base article about how to resolve the problem (or at least, "a" problem... I stopped looking after I found one). Since the solution seemed to require you to re-establish the sync pairing, I figured maybe the problem wouldn't affect me (since the app was new for me). And it didn't affect me. Sync works just fine for me. And for those having problems, maybe checkout the developer site. Giving 5 stars, because it does everything I need. But, I admittedly don't use many of the app's capabilities.
Works for me too
I recently upgraded my iBook G4 laptop to a MacBook Pro. I was running OSX 10.4 and Quicken 2005 for Mac. One of the first purchases for my laptop was iBank 5. There was a bit of a learning curve, but features that Quicken had dropped for Mac users years ago were once again available to me. The mobile version not only allows me to keep up with my finances on the go, but it allows me to enter transactions in the field and synch them with iBank 5 on my laptop when I get home. If you're looking for a stand alone app, this isn't for you. But if you're looking to integrate the best personal finance app for Mac with your iPhone, then this fits the bill.
Finally Rid of Quicken
IGG Software has done an outstanding job with its iBank products. I have been waiting to get rid of Quicken ever since I switched to my Mac computer. My wife and I are using both the iPhone and the iPad versions. They sync flawlessly. I have also had great response from customer service. I gave them 5 stars, even though they have more they could do. For example, I would like to be able to reconcile my accounts using the iPad, but I need to use the computer version for that.
