Please add more detail
This used to be a GREAT app. But since 2 or 3 revisions ago, the "details" screen LACKS details. Upon completing the transaction, the detail screen does not show the transaction number. You must slide to the right (they've disabled the "back" button for some unknown reason), then select the transaction to view the details. Only then does the transaction number become viewable. Also, the "Name" field, where you can type in the cardholder's name, now NEVER DISPLAYS!! Come on Intuit, help us out. In my business, I may perform multiple transactions a day, then return home to enter data in QuickBooks later. In this case, I have no tracking of who's transaction each one belongs to, unless I have emailed the receipt, then I can track them by email address. Many of my clients don't want an emailed receipt, so I have to try to match up transaction to client. Sometimes multiple transactions have the same total. This could be changed very easily by merely adding more detail on the detail page. Please repair these issues, then I will upgrade my review to 5 stars. Other than those complaints, I've been using Intuit for 3 years now and have had NO other issues. The company has done me well on the financial end.
No fraud protection.
I used to use this app but they were unable to protect me from a customer who was using a fraudulent card. While other similar apps have sufficient fraud alert warning and protection.
Also, while being a competitor for similar apps such as square and paypal's version of on the go payment services, they market themselves as being able to use this app to pay friends or roomies etc. but come tax season you will have to account for those non-income transactions and be reported to the irs. This app isn't worth the headache and the hassle when you have other companies that will only report if there are 20k+/200 transactions being made.
Worst customer service
I've had a business for several years, always used quickbooks online, and recently decided to switch my merchant account. After spending several days getting everything setup and having been fully approved, had my credit checked, etc, my account was closed without cause or explanation. All they would say is it's a business decision. Well I've made a business decision as well. Intuit won't get one dime of my money, and as an independent it consultant, I plan to help my clients move away from intuit as well.
