Best In-ride Interface

I love the social and interval aspects of Strava, but find the in-ride display very lacking. I have my phone mounted on my bike and want a lot of data and control at my fingertip. Cyclemeter delivers on all! Love the automated posting features and the endless customization possible with this app. I you this app exclusively for my rides. Starts up quick and effortlessly connects to my Polar HR Chest and and Bontrager Duotrap sensor mounted on my bike. The only upgrade I can think to ask for is for the "iPod control" screen to be able to interface with Pandora and other streaming service allowing control and album art in the app. I love the interconnectivity of Facebook and other social media allowing your friends and family to cheering you on and then hearing it read to you on your ride. Can't say enough how much I love this app. If you combine this app with the social and interval aspects of Strava, you have cycling nirvana in my opinion.

Love this app

I use it mostly for road cycling. Gives me all the information that I need.
Connects seamlessly to Wahoo HR as well as the Wahoo Speed/Cadence sensors so I can train smarter knowing how much effort I'm putting into it.
I carry a small, portable, back up power supply with me , but It really doesn't drain my iPhone.
For safety, I have it set so it emails my location to my wife every 15min while I'm riding AND if I stop.
People spend way more to have less than what Cyclemeter gives you and them you get them next to you asking about average speed, riding time, stopped time, calories or even the weather, which I have all on my screen.
I have contacted technical support in various occasions and they are friendly, responded quickly, truly understand their product.
I wish it provided "turn by turn" directions, since sometimes I find myself riding unfamiliar roads and, even when the route is available on the screen, it may be in a different page at the time and there is no pop up and/or a sound notification to let me know that a turn is coming.
But then again, I don't think any other do it either.
So, Cyclemeter, you can be the first!

Obviously built for running

Update Aug 2015:
The interface is really starting to feel stale. It seems like it's at least two years since they've done anything to it (The subscription gets you more features, but doesn't help the interface at all)

Update July 2015:
Yup, still don't have the basics right for biking.

- Tons of customizations.
- Can export all data at once via SQLite.
- Works with various external devices (heart rate monitors, etc)

After a year of use, it's apparent that they have not got the basics correct - all the customizations in the world can't make up for the lack of basic features.

This app is obviously made for runners (it's RunMeter with different defaults).
- The graphs become pretty useless when you've gone over 15-20 miles, and/or varied your speed by over 25mph - everything gets smushed together.

- The color contrast and size of text (maps and graphs) might be ok for running (where you can study closely), but they're not great for quick glances (all you can afford on a bike).

- Audible feedback is useless on the bike, you can't hear it. Once again, something that's fine for running, but not okay for biking. They added visual feedback for laps - they need to do it for everything else as well.
