More options are needed.
You must use paper with the exact measurements of the picture you are printing. Printing 4x6? Use only 4x6 paper in order for it to work. I wanted to print 2 copies of the same picture. There are no options for quantity so I had to select the same picture twice get two copies. The problem is that if your were printing on 8 x 11.5 paper and wanted two 4x6 copies of the same picture, there is no option to have more than one picture printed in a single sheet of paper. It's such a waste. So then I thought well I'll just print one 4x6 on one half of the page and then I would put the same sheet back in the feeder and print the same picture on the other half. Wrong. It printed the first 4x6 long ways in the middle of the page. There was no option say where on the page you want it printed or the orientation.
Terrible User Interface
This is what apps used to look like the first year iOS was launched. Seriously, the user interface is TERRIBLE. I bought the Selphy CP900 printer and could not wait to print wirelessly from my iOS devices. Then I discovered I could not print directly from the photos app but had to download this Canon Eaysy-Photo Print app instead. The experience suddenly became very unpleasant. Surely there must be a better design than this? When selecting bordered printing for example, the app does not show you how much of a border will show. I've found that depending on the resolution of the picture, the border is either ridiculously thick or a bit more regular. Really Canon, you sell "wireless printers" but make apps so bad that it leaves the user with a very bad experience. PLEASE FIX.
It needs some fixes
I use this app mainly to print documents from Pages (Open In Another App > PDF > Choose App > Canon...). It works ok that way.
But sometimes it just won't find my printer, no matter what I do (I own a PIXMA MX340). I've tried turning my printer off and back on, rebooting it, rebooting my iPad, rebooting my internet router, nothing works. It just works when it feels like it.
Plus, recently when I print from this app, it prints really, really slow, and makes the printer make some weird sounds. I know it is not the printer because when I print something directly from my computer (also via wifi) it works just fine.
I wish they could fix this issues, it feels like Canon doesn't care much about their printing apps.
